Kybella is the only fat blasting injectable available today making getting rid of a double-chin fairly easy. For patients with a lot of fullness, our surgeons will often recommend submental liposuction as a more cost effective option or often times a combination of both treatments for maximum results. We’re now seeing that many patients with just a subtle amount of fullness turn to kybella for a chiseled jawline. These are patients that don’t have enough fullness to necessarily undergo submental liposuction but would like a more chiseled jawline, which is easy to do with Kybella.
Kybella for a chiseled jawline requires a series of treatments, typically between 2 and 4, though up to 6 treatments can be done. Treatments need to be spaced out 4-6 weeks once the numb feeling from the previous treatment is gone. There is a decent amount of swelling for about a week after each treatment and then numbness that takes longer to fully go way.
Here is one such patient, blogger and social media influencer, @tayavanessa. She had 3 treatments done with Alfie Symes, nurse injector here at Utah Facial Plastics, and couldn’t be happier. It’s one of the best things she says she’s done and her followers agreed it made quite a difference, even though the fullness in her before photo was quite subtle. Here she is after each of her three Kybella treatments.
Taya Vanessa also had lip augmentation and Botox with Alfie Symes of Utah Facial Plastics. There are many non-surgical treatments available today that offer subtle enhancements ones appearance. It’s important to see a specialist who will not leave you looking unnatural or overdone.
