Cheek, Chin, and Lip Filler

Whether you are looking to enhance your cheeks, chin, or lips… filler can be a great non-surgical option to lift, fill lines, and restore volume. A common misconception about filler is that it always looks unnatural. When done by an experienced injector, filler can look so natural that the average person does not notice if someone has filler.

Lifting Cheeks with Filler

Non-surgical cheek augmentations are done to achieve either high cheekbones or to revolumize the mid-face. Due to age, the lack of fullness in the cheeks and mid-face are one of the first telling signs of age because it makes the individual appear gaunt. The cheeks help the face keep its structure and kind of hold everything up. Once the cheeks begin to sag, the nasolabial folds (smile lines around the mouth) and the jowls begin to droop, which all make a person appear much older than they are.

Candidates for a non-surgical cheek augmentation typically have mild to moderate volume loss in cheeks and/or midface. Cheek augmentation is also extremely popular amongst younger individuals who want to enhance their cheek bones. At UFP our expert nurse injectors typically use Juvederm Voluma XC, which can last up to two years. Voluma XC is a much thicker filler that instantly adds volume, provides a subtle lift and restores a natural contour. Other popular fillers are Restylane Lyft and Restylane Contour. Another injectable called Sculptra can be used to stimulate ones collagen over a longer period of time and have longer lasting results.

Chin Filler Benefits

Filler in the chin is typically done to improve the profile and to create a stronger jawline. Filler in the chin is an ideal temporary solution for someone who is on the fence about a chin implant. Chin filler is becoming just as popular as a lip augmentation due to the rise in facial contouring. Adding filler to the chin creates more definition to the lower third of the face and when done correctly, can make the face appear more attractive. Oftentimes the cheeks and the chin/jawline are addressed together to create the desirable heart-shaped face.

A candidate for chin filler is usually someone who has a receding chin or just wants to create a stronger chin/jawline. It is important that when addressing the chin, you see an artistic yet extremely skilled injector because too much chin filler can make someone appear angry or can even make the face appear disproportionate.

Lip Enhancement

A favorite and most common place to treat with filler, lip augmentation. Lips are one of the most sought-after filler treatments amongst both young and more mature patients because fuller lips can instantly make an individual look more youthful and attractive.

A candidate for lip filler is basically any healthy individual who wants to rejuvenate their lips. The most popular fillers that are used on the lips include Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Juvederm Volbella, Restylane Kysse, and Restylane L. The filler that is used depends on what the individual is looking for in a lip augmentation. Our nurse injectors will advise on which filler to go with based on the desired look you are going for.
