Chemical Peel Pre & Post Care

Pre-Treatment Care

  • Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 1-2 weeks before your treatment.
  • Refrain from using retinols, glycolic acid, or other photosensitizing products for 5-7 days prior to your chemical peel.
  • Ensure the treated area is free from any cold sores, open wounds, or other active skin conditions.

Post-Treatment Care

  • For 1 week after your peel, avoid the use of retinols, exfoliating treatments (both manual and chemical), or any harsh skincare products.
  • Protect your skin from direct sun exposure for 1-2 weeks post-treatment, and continue to use broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to maintain results and protect your skin.
  • Follow all post-care instructions provided by your skincare provider to optimize healing and results.
